Description
This is an older piece, long sold at conventions past. However, the scan was kicking around my hard drive for over a year, and somebody really wanted it uploaded, so I dug it up. It's kinda mousey minimalist--only three colors--and was a very small piece, and I feel the urge to hedge it around with qualifications since it's obviously not one of my full blown extravagant pieces, but still kinda cute.I always wondered how those poor little mice got around, although it's obvious from this shot that they have not yet encountered the sadistic figure of the Farmer's Wife.

I love their cloaks and how their noses poke out from under the hoods. The black and white striped lining is a very nice touch. And the fact that they're holding their tails is kind of foreboding.

This reminds me of a comedy version of Three Blind Mice that I heard once. It's the "politically correct" version:

These are adorable. I like the minimulistic quality of them. A horizon line might have been nice but not nessicary. That is one of my favorite nursery rhymes. That and hickroy dickory dock. I really do like this peice. Makes me want mice... but I have a ferret and he is perfect.

Don't ya know that blind mice sometimes have caterpillars for guide critters. Which of course leads to some interesting sights. Ever wonder just how that blind mouse got up there? Why he followed his guide caterpillar of course.
Then comes the day when the ever patience mouse thinks they are just waiting for a break in traffic, when instead his trusty guide caterpillar has decided it is time to take a nap and become a butterfly. They just sit and wait until someone either comes to rescue them or lead them into another adventure.
