They are very colorful (it seems many of the highly toxic animals are brightly colored). I don't think they are really evil They are just toxic to keep other animals from eating them. Interestingly enough, it is believed that the toxic nature of these frogs comes from what they eat, possibly a specific species of ant, because they tend to lose their toxicity in captivity.

E-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t !!! I know that's a hard shot to take, as I tried recently at our local zoo. I couldn't get it right with the glass. You are too good!

Thanks ... I know what you are saying. I have a lot of shots that have problems caused by glass. It can be really hard to work with.

Is there a special trick to it? I had trouble getting my camera to manually focus, I do not remember what setting I was using. . .

Glass is a challenge that varies widely based upon a number of conditions. The biggest problem tends to be glare, either in the form of reflections from lights or items on your side of the glass or from your camera's flash. The best way of dealing with reflections is to either get very close to the glass or to try to block out the light with your body or some other item. I carry a large piece of black canvas I can use for this purpose. You can also try finding an angle that minimizes glare, but this is not always possible. Focusing problems are harder to deal with. When my camera will not auto focus, I will usually compensate by hand. This is where USM lenses are nice because you can override the autofocus without having to switch modes. Hope that rambling helps you out a little
