Description I figured I would take a break from the cat photos today and post some other animal shots. This is a photo of a golden eyelash viper taken at the Nashville Zoo. In this pose, it is easy to see the "eyelash" scale from which the snake gets its name. This guy is one of my favorite snakes to photo because it always seems to be in a good pose

Ooooo! Eye lash Viper. They are so cool. It amazes no animal on earth can be as yellow as birds and reptiles. It just amazes me.

Ah! I love eye lashes! We have several at our zoo, different colors too. They seem to be pretty prolific breeders. This is a great shot, I really like the white behind him and the blurry bit of coil in front of him.

They seem to be a very photogenic snake. There have been two at the Nashville zoo, they used to have a corel colored one, but it dissapeared one day and this golden one showed up. They both looked good and posed well, so I didn't complain.
