It will be a group exhibition, we are 45 artists, I will only present my last three photomanips, actually I've made them specially for that exhibition. The fact that many artists are present bring lot of competition, I will probably be the only digital artist and most of the visitor don't know me and have never seen my work. So it will be interesting to see reactions.
Three pictures is clearly not something huge. I have something incredibly more ambitious for 2016...
A good friend of mine is opening an art gallery in larger town (300,000 peoples) and he is ok for an exhibition. The place is large enough to fit 15 large pictures (1 meter), the exhibition would last 3 weeks.
Large town, real art gallery, 15 new pictures to create, 3 weeks of exhibition, what about that ? Is that real challenge or what ?
Perhaps I will even make a 2 meter picture because that would be awesome Actually I've made a 1.8m wide picture for my last exhibition but it was a very cheap printing to create a visibility on street.
The result was incredibly impressive and I want to punch the face of visitors with a large master piece.
Of course I plan to make something with a good coherence, so I will only make photomanipulations and I will illustrate a citation from Pablo Picasso : “La peinture n’est pas faite pour décorer les appartements. C’est un instrument de guerre offensive contre l’ennemi.”
Painting is not made to decorate flats. It's an instrument of offensive war against the enemy.
I have the feeling that I must get out from my neutrality to make the difference.
If the exhibition is a success I will probably move it to my current place, I know where I can get some walls to make an exhibition without real problems
You never been to an art exhibition ? How is that possible ? Is there no local artist where you live ? No public library ? No art gallery ? I live in a 100,000 people town and I can visit a new art exhibition every month (well in average
