Description The song "Elevator Love Letter" by Stars popped up in my pandora MGMT playlist... and, well, this image came to mind.

Awkward young urban dwellers with a broken sense of love. How could this song not strike a cord with me?! Anyway, for those of you who want to give it a listen ---> [link]

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the image. Plus I'm just glad to see I'm still able to draw a complete scene with out total cop outs for backdrops and such

woow, this picture goes so well with the song! i swear it came to my mind when i saw the thumbnail, even before i read the title. :3

i've always wanted to do a picture about this song, but yours would put mine to shame! :'c
really, i'm amazed at the amount of details. and the reflections look so right!
the boy and the girl look absolutely lovely as well. i think the girl's arms look slightly stiff though D:

Yeah, I left the image all a little ambiguous because I wanted people to sort of see the story they wanted to see Its fun to ponder the circumstance or various possible occurrences from it... heh, in my own mind I see it ending with the girl getting off at her floor and the guy saying nothing, then kicking himself for being a coward!

Great Job. It's been too long.

I really like the reflection and the background, (it's what I notice immediately). The characters are really well drawn too. Some of your better work I'd say. The lighting as always is phenomenal. I love the texture of the elevator floor.

I guess you can go without drawing and improve. Makes sense for someone from the bizarro world anyway.

Hmm, wasn't hot on the song at the start... by the end I had to hit it with download helper, shall look them up. Awesome track, gentle and whistful...

...which of course has just used up three of the adjectives I wanted to use to describe the picture

Great pic mate, I can fully associate with those emotions: how do I start a conversation? Will she want to have a conversation? Would I just be bugging her and make her hate me more? The skyline's fantastic too, all the different styles of architecture. And the reflection, those always kill me, mad envy man. Though are they meant to be on the 13th floor? If so you might want to reverse the number in the reflection.

Incredible work here, I love it!!! (The only thing I don't relate to is the girl's clothes though I love the colours ) Other than that, this rocks for me! I really LOVE your style so much. And this is so beautifully drawn and coloured!
