I like the texturing on the scarf. It's warm and fuzzy and cuddly and I want one! The pink and striped ones are the ONLY reason I even go to the mall anymore. TwT

Why bother buying one when you can make one? Only... the stupid thing stretches to be like 1 1/3 times as long as it should be, and the nice yarn costs a lot. I agree though, it's freezing. Why doesn't it just snow already? Can't even sit indoors w/o a jacket on any more. Blankets are my friend. It's a cute pic ^^ makes me wanna go run outdoors bundled up in winter clothes and play in a big pile of fresh snow in the mountains or something. Never mind the errors in proportions and such, I think this is just one of those pics you look at and enjoy for the sentiments it brings. Ok, I'll stop whinning about the cold and go stand infront of the fire place and procrastinate studying some more now.

LOL, I am so not skilled enough to to make my own! People like me just have to buy em! I too would want it to snow, that is, unless I have to be somewhere like school or work. Cause I hate driving in the snow, and my summer only performance tires don't work at all on ice. It would be way scary to drive!

It's not hard to learn, really. I'm only on the 4th project I've ever crocheted in my life, and over the course of a few hrs it's nearly done (I refuse to sleep until it's finished). The 1st one I had to keep pulling out the stitches and redoing all the time, sure, but it's very repetitive so it's easy to pick up. What sucks though is all the super soft, trendy, doesn't look like something your grandmother wore as a child type yarn costs just as much as buying one. Bah, that's exactly why it should snow, who wants to work? And ah... *points to a TV* guess you've not been seeing the commericals for tires and snow chains lately XD

I always find it hard to draw hands, let alone with proportion and foreshortening issues!!
When I draw hands they look like gloves blown up with air lol
