Description Heh, still excited about buying a scarf... it's been so bloody cold on campus that I NEEDED a scarf or else risk freezing to death! Anyway, it's nice and warm, I love it!

This is a lil celebratory pic showing my enthusiasm for warmth! I did it in photoshop over several hours instead of studying for my upcoming finals like I should have been!! The hand is totally messed up, I know, it really looks like crap. The perspective in the BG is totally off too... but what ever. I haven't drawn or submitted anything in ages... I'm posting this mostly cause I really have done so little recently...

Yarg... I'm gonna go put my scarf on now!!

I love scarves, especially those super long ones they have in the stores this year, though I wonder if that isn't courting trouble. Anyway the soft colors are very nice, and the sort of whiteover effect in the background adds to the cold wintery feel.

I like the texturing on the scarf. It's warm and fuzzy and cuddly and I want one! The pink and striped ones are the ONLY reason I even go to the mall anymore. TwT

Heh, I really wanted to capture the essences of cuddly warmth with this image! So I'm glad it worked!! Yes, scarfs are so very awesome... not only are they warm and practical, but are a great fashion accent as well

Thank you! Heh, a scarf in Florida eh? Actually it sometimes is WAY too cold indoors in warm places, cause they turn up the A/C too high to try and compensate! It just seems weird to think "Hmm, I'm going inside, better put on a scarf!!"

Heh heh, Indeed I should draw more!! But good golly, I'm just too busy these days That's cool your mom is gonna knit you a scarf! Nothin beats homemade warm comfortable goodness! Mom mom used to make sweaters and stuff for me and my brother... but it's been many a year since that.

Why bother buying one when you can make one? Only... the stupid thing stretches to be like 1 1/3 times as long as it should be, and the nice yarn costs a lot. I agree though, it's freezing. Why doesn't it just snow already? Can't even sit indoors w/o a jacket on any more. Blankets are my friend. It's a cute pic ^^ makes me wanna go run outdoors bundled up in winter clothes and play in a big pile of fresh snow in the mountains or something. Never mind the errors in proportions and such, I think this is just one of those pics you look at and enjoy for the sentiments it brings. Ok, I'll stop whinning about the cold and go stand infront of the fire place and procrastinate studying some more now.

LOL, I am so not skilled enough to to make my own! People like me just have to buy em! I too would want it to snow, that is, unless I have to be somewhere like school or work. Cause I hate driving in the snow, and my summer only performance tires don't work at all on ice. It would be way scary to drive!

It's not hard to learn, really. I'm only on the 4th project I've ever crocheted in my life, and over the course of a few hrs it's nearly done (I refuse to sleep until it's finished). The 1st one I had to keep pulling out the stitches and redoing all the time, sure, but it's very repetitive so it's easy to pick up. What sucks though is all the super soft, trendy, doesn't look like something your grandmother wore as a child type yarn costs just as much as buying one. Bah, that's exactly why it should snow, who wants to work? And ah... *points to a TV* guess you've not been seeing the commericals for tires and snow chains lately XD

mmmmm nice and warm scarfs are the best. I bought a new one last winter too, and it was great, I tuck my nose under it

nice little pic. The hand is a bit odd, but it's ok, at least it doesn't look like someone else's hand choking you
and the framing is cool too

Heh thanks! I tried hard to get the angle right on the arm, so it would at least look like mine! But gosh, hands are so darn hard to draw... I should really practice them more. Heh, I too actually wear the scarf over the lower half of my face... I just didn't want to hide the expression contentment!

I always find it hard to draw hands, let alone with proportion and foreshortening issues!!
When I draw hands they look like gloves blown up with air lol
