Description I'll give up titling soon, I think...

The huge amount of green in this picture is due to the fact that I worked on a green background. Green becomes Juno.

I really like painting these quick portraits. Photoshop only.

She reminds me a lot of Irma la Douce, she resmbles her and Irma always wore green. Love it!

Her mouth is excellently well-drawn.

She has lovely features. The portrait already looks very good, maybe you could make a few more saturated areas to increase the realism and liveliness?

I think you might think it looks better if you saw it outside DA, because for some reason DA makes things PALE. There was more saturation to the picture before I uploaded it. *sigh*
And thanks (:

Really? I never noticed that DA makes things pale, but that's a really interesting observation. Huh.

And you're welcome

Maybe I'm doing something very wrong, but here's a little colour comparison [link] (:

Wow, that's really... a great difference. I'm speechless, does it have something to do with the colour mode you're working in? RGB,CMYK...? But then you're using a Mac and I heard this day from Azurelle that she had problems with that, too.

Quote:
"edit: As I uploaded this image from my mac, the colours got magically changed. I guess it has to do something with DA's system, which might be PC based or something else. But I overworked the colours on my PC now again sothat they lok like they are "supposed" to look. I can't wait to see what happens when I look at this page again using the MAC..."

DeviantART doesn't accept CMYK, does it? I've accidentally uploaded a CMYK once or twice, but it has never worked. I usually work in RGB, though, unless it's something I know I'll print one day.

I AM using a Mac, and reading that quote it seems like there might be a connection. And that is just silly. As far as I know, Macintoshes are common amongst artists! I'll try to upload something from my PC too, to see what'll happen. Thank you for telling me this.

Oh, I've never tried to upload CMYK, actually.

I'm glad I could help a bit, hope that you get the colours right somehow
