Oh, man. My co-writer and I have got 'reality' versions figured out for MOST of the main cast of the secondary and tertiary plot threads of our fantasy webcomic. Complete with entire written-out storylines and backstories and how-they-met stories and coming-out stories and everything... mostly generated when we're bored on long car trips, or don't have time for a 'proper' writing session. All because one day co-writer asked, "If our characters lived in the present, what make and model of car would they drive?"
I am definitely going to have to fill out a few of these once my current project deadline is past. Or if I need to do some serious procrastinating before then.
