The year and a half I had you brought me so much joy. I knew you were already an old man when I got you... the pet store said you had been there for years because nobody wanted you. I never saw you molt and you never burrowed, you were always slow-moving... I tried so hard to find you a female because I knew that you wouldn't last forever and I wanted nothing more than to have baby Mr. Nibblies before you left the world... it's ironic and tragic that I only found you one the very day before you passed. Though I am looking forward to raising the four baby giant african millies on their way to me, you will NEVER be replaced. I know I'll never have another millipede as wonderful as you. You never pooped on me, you never had a single mite, and though you liked to give little nibbly kisses, you never bit me or sprayed me with cyanide (...more than a couple times, but you were sleeping, it was my fault for disturbing you!) You are the only arthropod I have ever cried over losing. I love you, and I'll never forget you, Mr. Nibbly.~Remembering Mr. Nibbly~

Mr. Nibbly was an awesome pet. Very slow moving and easy to take care of...and even though he was a millipede, he did exhibit a load of personality. He couldn't have had a nicer home and better care, so his life was full.....and the babies .....tiniest little things ever and so darn cute....

That is so wonderful you were able to find a love outside of our normal shells and that love not only returned it but brought you happiness and joy as well. Its sad, but smile an know that while he was here you had an amazing friend.
