Check this one out, A franken-beetle! This was one of my favorites from the show and I found it in the parking lot. I think 4 beetles went into making this hoodride!Photographed at the 2007 VW Super Jam 20 show, Maple Grove Raceway, PA.

even a few years ago, good beetles could be had in my country for as little as a 1000 dollars. sigh. now thery've suddenly achieved collector status and are beyond reach

Only 1800? .. wow I have seen them in alot worse shape for alot more. *snaps fingers*
Often times I find outside of shows in the parking lot nicer vehicles
