Fun fact: Abrin is a highly toxic toxalbumin, and is typically deadly to humans is consumed. I wasn't familiar with the plant when I was handling it and photographing it. Luckily, the seeds are only toxic if they are broken open; in their casings, they are harmless. This plant is an invasive species; while I found it in Florida, it is not supposed to be there.
