Description I constructed this somewhere around the summer of 1999, and it is in desperate need of repairs. I did not have a serger at the time, so the seams on the chiffon overlay are frayed and a number of the beads have fallen off, not to mention that it needs a good ironing. One of these days I will get around to fixing it. Maybe.

It's survived rather well. I like the detailing on the bottom hem.

It did take me a little while longer than usual, but that was because it was the first dress I made without a pattern. ~_^
