BIO

Randy described the epic battle between Zilla and the Worm with excruciating detail.

"I'm still glad I kept that camera on me, otherwise these fights would never be known to the world. Oh, and I guess researchers like seein em too."

Suddenly, another man walked up from behind them. A man about Erics height, pretty well built, and with dark hair in a ponytail. He sneezed once he got close.

"Randy, what are you doing over here?" he said, sounding suspicious. Randy sheepishly smiled, excuse at the ready.

"I was just tellin' my good new friend Eric here about 10 years ago."

The man perked up a little, but not much, like it was nothing more than a good memory to him.

"Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to get in on thi-- AH-CHOO!!"

"Mazel Tov." said Randy. "Well, sure, you can chip in. But, I have to be the one to tell him about this next part. It's one of my favorites. You'll have plenty of time Mendel."

Eric had to admit to himself, there was something about Mendel Craven he just didn't expect. Maybe the name just sounded weak compared to the guy that stood before him, but then he sneezed again. Randy resumed the story.

"Well, the G man beat the worm by practically fryin' his skin. The burns made the creature retreat into the sands, and we didn't see him again. Monique, honestly a little fazed from the sight of the giant worm, led us further into the desert. By now, all of our little group was thankful to the big G for saving our skins multiple times. We were actually glad we had a giant iguana tailing us.

Well, about... mid-afternoon I'd say," Mendel nodded assent. "We arrived at what looked like something out of a mystery novel or a video game. It was a big metal door carved into a bluff. Monique told us that this place was abondoned a few years ago, but it was occupied by very bad people doing very bad things. Her mission, the entire reason she was out here with us, was to investigate this place. Turns out the snake canyon was just an accidental discovery of one of their more recent bases. She wouldn't say anything about who they were, only that we'd find out when we went in. But, the seriousness of the moment quickly ended when Monique couldn't open the door.

It was then that my still top notch hacking skills came into play! That door was surprisingly easy to open, now that I look back. Monique was pret-ty thankful, lemme tell ya. You see, Monique didn't mean to take me along in the first place, y'know? I was a bit a of a tagalong in her eyes, but my skills came in handy a few more times. Well, we were outfitted and ready to enter, but then something really weird happened. The G man, tall enough to where we could look at him eye to eye on the bluff, suddenly turned and snarled. Over a nearby bluff, there was something flying towards us. A big, red, desert bat, about the G man's size. The rest of the group quickly ran in, but I decided it was more important to tape the fight, you know? Nick decided to stay as well, since he was the only one Godzilla would listen to.

Well, the fight, let me tell you, was epic, jefe. The two seemed evenly matched, but then-"

"I think it's best if I take over from here, Randy." Mendel said calmly.

Abilities

-Capable of flight even in deep space

-Can emit a powerful, focused sonic blast, stronger than the first two Rodans

-Despite the fact that's it not evil, it still has an appetite for blood.

(note: Bagorah is from the Godzilla Dark Horse comic back in the 90's. The reason I have him here in Zilla's story is because of a few noteworthy reasons. One, there's a giant bat in the Godzilla animated series, and 'giant bat' doesn't work as a name. Second, Bagorah is one of my favorites, and he got killed off pretty quickly in the comic, too. So, I decided to throw him in the Zilla arc, as his character has more potential here. I wanted Zilla's fights to be the same as Godzilla's, but in theme alone, the creatures themselves being very different. Anyway, keep reading. You'll like this next part a lot.) -j-
