It was 5:00 in the morning. The world was beginning to stir again, except for two men who had talked the night away.

"Okay, so we leave day after tomorrow?" Eric Goldwin asked.

"That's right." Tatsuo Ayasaki, G-Force captain, said. "G-Force will take care of your belongings and an alibi for why you're leaving. Have I covered enough, or are there any other questions?"

Eric rose from the chair he'd sat in for most of the night.

"No, I'm good. You've done me the favor of a lifetime, so I won't hassle you. Just tell me more later. There's so much I wanna know."

Tatsuo shook Eric's hand, and as he collected himself and walked to the door, he said,

"Sure, all in good time."

And then he was gone.

Eric was tired but ecstatic to the point where sleep sounded like a foreign concept. He pondered over what he would take with him immediately over what He'd wait for G-Force to bring later. After 15 minutes, a thought came to him.

"Ah, I know what I can do for a last farewell!"

He sat down again, and began to type.

-Godzilla is, in effect, something mankind could call 'the ultimate consequence.' We know not exactly where or when he came from, but we do know this. Thanks to one dark night in 1954, we have been given a clearer view of the world around us, and the many things we have and have yet to witness. There have been so many other creatures like him, some so out of this world, the mind would have trouble grasping at their vapors left in their wake. But can we truly bring ourselves to understand a creature known simply as a destroyer, when in fact he has helped us more so than harmed us. Perhaps, the only way we can grow closer, is to take a few steps into the virtual unknown.

If Eric had any more to say, he was sleeping to deeply to notice.
