"Define peculiar for me."

Tatsuo was a little confused about the question, but he tried to answer as best he could.

"Well... to be frank, a robot warrior suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the midst of the fight between the monsters. Well, to be accurate, he grew to monster size."

"A.... robot?"

Tatsuo nodded a little sheepishly.

"Yes. Jet Jaguar. Built by a man by the name of Goro Ibuki. A man I would have loved to have met."

"Jet... Jaguar? What kind of name is that?"

"I don't know. Very, very little is known of J.J's spec's. You see, Goro was a bit on the withdrawn side, and didn't really spend time around people in general. He only really had two people in his life, his friend and his friend's nephew, which is somewhat odd, now that I think about it. Jet Jaguar was constructed using technology betond our level even today, though we think the construction was based after Zone Fi-"
Tatsuo stopped cold, as though he remembered something important.
"But.... that aside, Jet Jaguar turned the fight in the Earth Defender's favor very quickly. In the end, he spelled victory when the Nebulans tried to retreat into space using a giant robot they were all flying in. Jet Jaguar flew up after it, and managed to destroy it, crashing it down to earth. A few of the Nebulans survived, and were taken into custody. They didn't have much to say, though. They still don't."

"So, Jet Jaguar was the key to their victory, huh? What about Gigan and Megalon?"

"Oh, Gigan flew into space in the confusion. Megalon burrowed into the soil, and hasn't been seen since."

"Okay. What about Jet Jaguar? If he's a machine, then how did he wind up helping humanity, what with that awesome power and all?"

"I really can't tell you everything..."

"C'mon, we're friends, aren't we? Tell me."

That seemed to strike a chord with Tatsuo.

"Friends? I've known you for..." he checked his PDA like device. 4:27 a.m. "5 hours. You can't say that so-"

"Yes, but it's like I've known you for years. And, you're as monster crazy as I am! How could I not call you a friend?"

Tatsuo let out a strange sigh, a little unsure of what to think.

"Goro Ibuki refused the offer to let the JSDF and later G-Force use Jet Jaguar, for apparently personal reasons. But, before he died in 1999, he did say in his will that Jet Jaguart was to be given to the KROW. Kaiju Research Organization for Well-being, an EDF funded pacifistic research organization. Jet Jaguar is basically a bodyguard for a group of scientists now."

"You see? Was that so hard?"

ABILITIES
