This turned out incredible. I see you're using Tahu's original blade.

It seems I had no choice : in France with the recent terrorists attacks, every blade or weapon, even fake but similar to a real one, is strictly forbidden in public. The original tahu sword doesn't, unlike the new ones. Thanks anyway, feel free to say your likes and dislikes about the suit, so I could one day make a better one. maybe ^^
hope your Kopaka suit will be the next

You're welcome. I'm not much of a critic though. The closest thing I have to Cosplay are my Halloween Costumes, And didn't make a full costume until I tried out my Winter Soldier costume.
Thanks for the support. I'm using the torso I made for my Iron Man suit (I used a store bought costume and bulked it up a bit). It's already set to my size and would help support Kopaka's frame. I was going to make is box-like, but that wasn't working out in the corner areas in the front of the torso. The back is fine though. I'm using foam boards I bought from my college campus. They're already white, so I wouldn't need to do a ton of painting. the Masking tape I'm using isn't quite working, so I may use duct-tape instead. My biggest reference would be Kopaka Nuva as he looks in the movie. He still looks like a robot there, but he looks more "humanized" than the set in that movie. This scene is a lot of help with the various angles: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i74y76…

I suggest you should first make some drawings of your project, make some plans of the future suit and how to make pieces like the torso armor, how much will you modify the original set

Yeah, I'll need to draw more pictures to plan things out. I think I'll also need the original set. I own Takanuva, Gali Nuva, and Pohatu Nuva, but I don't have any other toa from those set lines. I don't even have the pieces used for Kopaka's swords.
