Please read my latest journal entry before posting any comments:Β 20150101I'm a friggin' moron. I've mentioned the dark variant of the suite, but didn't show it to you. Time to fix that. By which I mean showing it to you, not fixing my stupidity. I'm afraid that'd be kind of impossible...
Also, diggin' the switches.
Changelog (so far):
+ rewritten the whole suite to be compatible with new customization options
+ added dark color scheme option
+ added main color scheme chooser (light / dark)
+ added 2 new accent colors (yellow and teal) in place of some old ones (grey and white)
+ added option to change time format (24h / 12h) for the Clock Digital and Tray skins
+ added option to change Disk skins' indicators style (bar or angle percentage) (see screnshot, above and below the Player, above the RSS)
+ minor skin tweaks
+ minor graphics tweaks
+ added sleek variants for Player skin (see screenshot)
+ added an RSS reader skin with 2 variants (see screenshot)
+ added a power widget with 2 variants (see screenshot, below the Player)
+ added new widget with info, integrated skin settings, recommended wallpapers and credits

I just found your work and I have to say, this is some amazing stuff.
It looks likes the project has been slow unfortunately but I know that feeling of "burn out" and can definitely relate to getting overwhelmed with working on stuff. I hope this project gets completed one day, for now all I'll say is I'm already digging Origami 1.0, and as a user of NXT OS for years this really feels like a refreshing change.
I'd like to see a pureblack option for the dark theme though, I'm not a big fan of "off black".

Will Origami 2 have this IP issue I have fixed? For some reason, origami 1 says my ip is XX.XX.XXX.***, the X's being correct numbers, and the *'s being random asterisks where numbers should be. So, for example it might say something like 72.30.275.*** or 96.72.325.***. If this is fixable in origami 1, how?
edit: well I fixed it by editing Variables.inc to IP=0 and IPMasked=1, where the built in controller just leaves the masked .*** thing regardless how much I press it.

Thanks, I really like the Origami skin, and can't wait to see what v2 comes out with. Having one style is a lot nicer than a bunch of similar styles, or manually fixing it myself.

Why haven't you uploaded this skin to WIP section? It would help you sort out alot of the bugs.Β

On deviant art there is a work-in-progress section. Instead of uploading screenshots, I recommend you upload this skin to that work in progress section. This will help you as the down loaders of the skin will be able to tell you about bugs, recommendations etc. Eventually as skin gets more bug-free you can just move it to main section.

I know there is such a section but I don't want to upload unfinished stuff. When it gets done, I'll upload it, simple as that. Besides that, it's not a shared project or something - I test it, I seek for the potential bugs and fix them.

That depends. I'm not a big fan of the dark variant, but some people have requested it.

It really depends on the wallpaper. Personally I'll probably try to modify and make the dark version even darker to make the colors more bold.

I don't think it's better, but it's not either worse. It's just different and will fit certain wallpapers better.
