I mixed liquid polymer clay(Fimo Liquid or TLS) with polymer clay(the clay I used had glitters in it), and after baking I put a few coat of Pledge with Future(a floor finish).

Make a ball of clay, flatten it a bit, then pierce the hole!
I also baked the donut first, then added the icing, and rebaked it...

since u asked (lol sorry). this isnt completely to do with donuts, but charms in general. u know glaze? after its dried, is it meant to be kinda sticky still, even tho its been left for a few days to dry? or am i just doing it wrong? thanks for this btw, i only started making charms about 2 days ago. xD

No, it ususally dries in a few hours... What kind of glaze do you use? Some are incompatible with polymer clay.

its called "prism clear glaze" i asked in the art shop and they siad it would be fine. i wanted some sculpey glaze, but the dont sell it anywer in newcastle. and i asked my parents about ordering it over the internet and apparently "the internet is a giant con to take away our money" as my parents say, lol.

I dont know this glaze, but I googled a bit and found a messageboard with a girl having the same problem with this glaze... I use Future floor finish(now known as Pledge with Future), and it's the one of the most popular among polymer clay artists, it's pretty easy to find in groceries and WalMart. And way cheaper than sculpey glaze!

hi. once again, im asking you questions, sorry. its just that i just got my liquid sculpey from ebay, and tried making a donut. i got the TLS and added the clay, but it was too gloopy, and i didnt know how to apply it to the top of the donut, how do you do it? thanks xD
