for you MMD skyrim fans. I rigged this one after I sat in the hallway at the hotel. i decided not to sleep because my friends are bugging me...that and if i went to sleep i would'nt wake up the next day earlier enough to enjoy the last day of the convention.ripped by 00-00-alice00-00

On the Model Resource site that you pointed me to a while back, I found a model of Mira from the Final Fantasy Crystal saga. I was wondering if you could rig her original model for me please? Also, If there is anything that you want me to do in return, don't hesitate to ask. (as long as it doesn't involve adult content.) i can't rig humans...which is why i tend to make pony and creature models. i just can't do ik bones.

Okay, I'm 1/16 of the way through! But I'm stuck. (the tutorial isn't that descriptive.) I've loaded up blender, imported the OBJ file, but I can't export the file as a PMD file? Do i need another add on for blender or something?

import as obj
then export as 3ds into the model's folder
then import the 3ds model into blender and export it as an xfile.
there is no pmd plugin for blender.
and skipping strait to x from obj will make it buggy and half the time unimportable into MMD and PMD and the other half buggy as SHIT! with missing textures.

I turned the OBJ into a 3ds fine, but when I click under the export option, I'm not given an x file choice. Did I mess something up?

It's okay, I managed to solve the problem. I just needed a lower version of blender. But, now I can't seem to get the textures to stick to the model in PMD.

well did u have them set to textured when you exported the models? that part is real important.
