Recently, I have been reading more shoujo manga than I ever have in my life..."Hot Gimmick" is a series that got me hooked instantly. It has a great storyline that makes you wanting more when you turn every page.

It also has great suspense, I always wonder whats going to happen from one volume to another.

In volume three of the French edition, the three little images that I used were seperate from one page to another. I loved them so much, that I wanted to do something with them right away. The "equation" idea came later on, I guess you have to read the book to understand its meaning.
I love one-tone illustrations, so I decided to try creating one of my own, and chose purple.

Everything was traced in good old Photoshop.
