Man, I was depressed back then. A reworked oil painting from spring of 2003. That's not me, just some model in a class, but the picture came to reflect my inner state of mind. I had intended to rework this for a long time. Today, I've been sick in bed and had time for it. I tried to make it communicate depression, a bit like many of Edward Munch's best works communicate just one emotion and communicate it with all their being - being the Munch-fanboy that I am. All too much digital art is too slick and polished.
