Maybe this should go in scraps, but I somehow feel that paintings are something you submit as a deviation.

They have a cheap course in a local adult education center, where you get to paint from a model, and I really like that course, because it's cheap, because the teacher is a good academy trained artist, and because I enjoy painting portraits so much. To my dismay I was not able to fit in to the course this year, because of bad luck. You have to enroll by telephone, and it took me more than an hour to get through. Fortunately, some people have quit the course, and they called me later and told me I could come. Anyway, this is my first painting from that course - oils on canvas board, size 35 x 27 cm (small). Finished on one sitting. The ligthing really was that strong.
