Classy image there...I really enjoy the curves and the warm colourscheme...it reminds me of something that I cannot remember.

It only took me 2 days to paint that one (but 15 years of practice!)

I learned all techniques myself, maybe it would have gone faster when I'd gone to an art school ha ha!

Thanks! You can do almost anything with oil-paint. I use the same techniques as they did in the 17th century: I paint in transparent layers.

"transparent layers" lol that where stand over my head, but dont worry i'm not a painter, still that was really good.
if you like check out my gallery [link] and tell me what you think of it. any advice or comments to improve it would be great as im really new at this.

Wow, nice work! I like the one called 'Dusty planet' the most! Did you all of them with the computer? The lightning effects are amazing. It would be very hard to make such light effects with oil-paint.

yeah i did it all using photoshop and dusty planet used terragen too.
but i've only been doing it for 4 days so im still very new.
i actually thought your work was more impressive because of your lighting effects as i would find it impossible to do it with computers to help (but each to their own lol).
i use photoshop because its easy to edit and change things if i dont like it, and it allows me to experiment and try different things really quickly.

Only 4 days??? I've been painting for 15 years! And it took me years to get to the level I'm at now!
