Thanks for the critique. Finally someone telling me what I need to improve. The mew got 3 toes because I kept the forms of the anime still. In the anime they got 3 toes/fingers, so mine got 3, too. ^^

Thanks for the critique. ^^
I drew them the way I imagine them, while still trying to keep their looks. The original Pokemon style is very simplified.

I really like this. The quote is very true and very nice! They style and way you drew mew and mewtwo is cute and I really like it.

Thanks! The quote is wrong, cuz I translated it from German, using my poor grammar. xD But it still conveys the message. *shrug* Glad you like it despite its flaws.

You are very welcome! Even if the quote isn't perfect it is still very good. C:

Thank you!
Oh, I don't even remember what I wrote there. Something about them being too picky with art quality I think? ^^'

It was about being tired of them not submitting your artwork. I just submitted a picture and it got declined despite meeting all the requirements. Maybe it was the background or something?
However, I can see a fair few people are unhappy with them as well. Β

Ah, right. Yea, they didn't bother to explain their point when I asked for feedback on why my art was declined multiple times. So I just left the group with that comment and kinda forgot about it. I ain't bothering with that kinda organization. If they had told me my art doesn't meet their skill level requirement, fine. But not even that happened. Makes me feel like they just pick what they personally like. *shrugs* But there's other groups. ^^

Yep, and what do kids learn these days? ... Ugh, I don't even want to think about it.
Not sure if I should say "You're welcome" or "Thank you"... So just take both. ;D

when i'm sitting in the bus or train, listening to ... let's say children ... i'm feeling old and prudish.
well, the youth of today, right?

Ha, you'll feel really old when you see a ~8 year old girl in high heels, with tons of makeup and a little .. handbag? Is that the word? Or 10 year olds drinking beer, talking about sexual stuff. Makes me feel like I'm in a wrong dimension or something.

where's the childhood gone?
well, when i see a young girl with make-up and high heels and her mother or father next to, i ask the parents if they're weird.
some things in the world should stay FAR AWAY from children and it's the duty of parents to keep their kids children as long as they are.
if a young girl (or boy) tries the make up and high heels of her (his) mum at home, that is totally okay. but not out on the street!
what does our society do to protect the childhood?

Considering that weird spot on TV for a kids show, with a thing that looked like a hybrid of cat and squid, making soap bubbles with ... its butt... Not much. I really prefer old shows and movies. Where kids learned things, like the value of life. But these days, people seem to believe showing or talking about death is bad for children. Do you know "The Animals of Farthing Wood"? It's quite cruel, but at least it gives kids a feel of how things are and that life is nothing you can easily "respawn". I loved that show as a kid. ^^

in german it is "als die tiere den wald verlieΓen". and yes, i loved it, too.
when i was small i couldn't understand all what was happening to them but with every year i grew i understood more.
this is what children need. understanding by growing up.
today the only movies that show a similar way of telling are made by dreamworks or pixar. but the avatar series include the values we new from our childhood.
hey, you know "the care bears", right?
my mum didn't allow me to look them, when i was a child. she thought, they'd make me stupid. but i was a rebel! ^^ when she wasn't at home, i jumped to the tv and looked the care bears!
now, as an adult, i understand why she thought it'd make me stupid ...
you surely know "my little pony", right?
this is alarming anti-male. children who look this series are taught a very wrong way to handle the world!
but most of the viewers are man over 18 ...
