Oh my god I finally drew something that doesn't look horrible. ^;U;^For a while now, I've had a great idea for a Spyro-themed comic, but I suuuuuuuuuuuuuck at drawing. Thankfully, I've been practicing a lot lately, and now I think I'm ready to make a comic!
So to start things off, I drew everyone's favorite purple putz.
I always loved playing the classic Spyro games when I was younger, much more than the "Legend of Spyro" series. I'm not really a big fan of those games. :/ I loved going to different worlds, exploring the different locations, trying to free all the dragons, collect the orbs, and hatch the eggs. Back in the good ol' days when Spyro was a rebellious little punk, and we absolutely loved him for it.
That being said, I want to have my comic set in the Classic series. I'm still thinking of the whole plot for it, so it will probably be quite a while before I post anything about it. From time to time I'll post drawings of the characters that will be in it.
I'd also like to include cameos of Classic fancharacters. So if you have a Classic Spyro FC, please comment with a link so I can see what your character looks like. If I like it enough, I might include it. ^;-;^

Yes indeed. And he never seems to get enough love. everyone seems to prefer the "Legend of" trilogy.

Oh wow, you did a really awesome job on the anatomy and facial expressions.
I tried drawing Spyro once and it suuuuuuuuuuuuucked. XD My style is so far from "Spyro Style" that he ended up looking like a freaky mutant.
Why the blue stripe on his belly though? I don't remember seeing blue on him when I played the games?

In the first game he has some blueish scales around his belly. Maybe it was a glitch on my game?

Now that you mention that, I think I do remember seeing that blue around his belly in the first game. Though you've made it alot more pronounced here.
Not that that's a bad thing, I like it. Really pulls his purple together.
