The failure to go with the “Articles of Confederation” was a great disaster. I firmly believe that At least as an important component, Confederated rule is a divinely inspired system. What I mean is, GOD prefers we rule ourselves that way. What is the most successful Confederacy, of any kind, in history? The Orthodox Catholic Communion. God had ordained Israel to be a confederacy of Hebrew tribes, and thrived under it during the Judges era. God ALONE was their King, but then they followed the world and demanded an earthly king. Of course Man-God Jesus was the built-in work around for this, in the long run, but still, whenever we have to run ourselves, some degree of confederation is God’s preference for us.
They don’t have to be a Republic, necessarily. Ireland used to be a Confederation of Counties and their Earls, who voted from among themselves who the king would be.

I was a Modern Roman Catholic, but I finally saw through that and am now a Western Rite Orthodox Christian, or what a Roman Catholic once was and is SUPPOSED to be. Two books woke me up and put me in this direction:

I might have become an “Empty Seater”, if I had only read the first, but it’s ultimately nonsense to try to reject Vatican 2 while keeping Vatican 1.
