I drew this dragon today where I experimented a little with the outline and shadows. I have this issue with my style that I don't like it being too cartoony, but I find it very relaxing to draw the line of the drawing up with a fineliner. I think it helped a lot that I used my colored pencils on top of some of the black to make it less powerful.
