The third in my bouquet series. I'm still not sure if I really like this one so I might end up putting this in my scraps.---------------

Aww, thank-you! It's the focus that keeps irking me everytime I look at it. It's nice to know that people like it.

The only time I got flowers was for my 15th birthday, since it's a special birthday here I got a dozen red roses from my family

A friend sent me a yellow carnation at school one year and I got a dozen of long stem roses for Valentines day once from a secret admirer (turned out to be a good friend of mine that I met online).
I think my dad bought me some smaller bouquets when I was a kid (so I wouldn't get jealous of my mom's pretty flowers that he'd get her).
The special birthday's there are 15? Over here it's 16 and then either 18,19, or 21 depending on where you live (for legal drinking of course)

We only celebrate girls' 15th birthday as a big deal with a huge party or a trip to DisneyWorld (it's become sort of a tradition to choose between those 2 options). Guess which one I chose 
Of course turning 18 or 21 is importatn, but we dion't celebrt with special parties. Of course guys get drunk for their 21st birthday, but I'm not sure that counts

It was really sweet. I originally thought it was my parents and they were like "no, we wouldn't do that for you".
Disneyworld sounds fun, so does Cancun. How was Disney? I've always wanted to go there.
Amost everyone here gets drunk on their 18th (it's legal at 19 but we can cross over to the Quebec side and drink there)

Disney was great! We went to 5 parks or so in about a week, and spent 2 days in Miami, 5 in Cancun, and another week on a cruise that took us to the Bahamas and the Florida Keys. It was awesome!!! I'll see if I can upload some photos, but I need to scan them first, I went there in 2000 (God, that made me feel old... O_o)
By the way, your parents' answer had me laughing for quite a while

YAY! Photos! I'll see about possibly digging up mine at some point too. I do have a few posted on WAYNE but I'm working on finding more of them.

I really like the angle and how some petals have curled but I think the focus should be more in the bottom.
