An older image I found on my desktop today.It was originally taken in RAW format and converted to JPG.
I have no idea what kind of flower this is.

I love the colours of this one, it has a kind of a sunburst feel, created by nature, well maybe not in this day and age, but I like to think it was!
I love the framing of this shot too, slightly off centre, gives it more personality!

I dno't know many flower names myself, but i'm trying to learn at least a few, to write it in the artist's comments of the pix I upload.

I'm going to the embassy on the 16th for my visa application and I've picked out my hostels. I just have to book them.
It's mostly doing great, I have the guidebooks so I know what I'm going to do/see. One of my friends is going to give me the name of one of his friends over there (he knows this awesome sneaky way to see the Great Wall).
It's basically going great and I have a friend joining me for a week! (He's got his passport too, so that's awesome)

It's a really beautiful flower. I like how vibrant yet soft the color of the petals look. I also like where the sharpest focus is. It gives the flower more depth. I also like how on a few of the petals you can see a little bit of fuzz. That made me smile for some reason. But what is the brown line in the background behind the upper left petal? That throws me off a little. Maybe I'm just being picky.
