This was taken early in the morning before class. These are some petals from those Gerbia flowers that my mom rescued.Location: a makeshift studio in my house

I like how it looks blurred at the top, but as it gets to the bottom, the petals become more sharp and clear. And the color is so vibrant!

The top blur wasn't my initial goal I was trying to get the entire thing but quickly learned that a macro lens has a very little depth of field.
I do love the colors too.

Love the delicate balance of the shot, the color scheme is simple and really helps to make this such a powerful image.
I do wish just a little more of the tips were focused, not the whole thing, but just a little more for some extra details and a clearer separation between foreground and background.
