This is probably the best deviation I've ever submitted yet. Though I think it's a little creepy too since she looks so adorable and yet at the same time she's looking at me like she wants to eat me.

Kurobararyu (Black Rose Dragon) or Kuro for short is my OC Aria's zanpakuto. This is her manifested human form (chibitized!). Originally she was supposed to be holding a black and red parasol but somehow I forgot and had her holding her Shikai release.

I couldn't think of a good background (either that or I was lazy) so I did this weird...orange thing. And I wrote her name in kanji/Chinese. Ha. My blood drips could use work.

Aria: Kuro? Whose blood is that? More importantly, do I even want to know?!
Kuro: ......You don't want to know.
Aria:
Me: You paid Urahara a visit, didn't you?
Kuro:
Aria: Wait, Urahara? Hey, wait a second!

One down, one to go!

Edit: I changed the kanji/Chinese because my mom said that the character for dragon wasn't right because that one only applies to males. Weird.... I don't know if that applies in Japanese, but what the heck. Also I forgot to add the marking below her eye because I changed the eyes once I scanned it it.

Tools: mechanical pencil, paper, eraser (for original sketch), writing tablet, Photoshop Elements 5.0 (for coloring)
