Looks like there's a bit of polecat DNA mixed in there! I've heard of hybrids between Eurasian minks and polecats, but haven't seen many pictures.

It was! First time I saw one! And we saw a seal too... now that was really surprising although apparently they do come in so close sometimes.
Wait you live in Finland right? Don't you get plenty of deer and moose over there? I live in Sweden and we sure get a lot of them here, especially moose wander around quite often were we live and we're living in a suburb some 40 minutes from town.
I just recently found out that we have beaver not terribly far from here so we're going to go beaver watching someday soon I hope.

Yup, I live in South-Finland. I think there are more mooses and deer up north, tho some moose occasionally cross the road, we almost crashed into one a few years ago when it was dark. D: There was no streetlight so it was just a huge dark blob so I don't count that as "seeing a wild moose" xD
I wish I lived in a house instead of a big ass building, sure we have a small forest in the backyard but too many neighbors. And the town is close too :/

Aha so the colder region...
Oh, that doesn't sound like fun... O.o I've heard that there's pretty much roadcollisions with deer and moose here as well... mostly in the hunting seasons when they run away from the hunters and out on the roads.
Yeah we live in a building too, I've dreamt of living out in the country instead! But there's surprisingly much forest and wildlife all around anyway.
That depends.. I only have my phonecamera as my real camera died (shut of and won't turn on again)...
