this guy was running towards me on the footp[ath, I snuck my camera out in time for a quick 'surprise' shot. Yesterday round the corner I got a couple of shots of a stoat killing a rabbit (4 times it's size) and then dragging it into the hedge - watch this spaceRelated content

yeah - like a big weasel but still smaller than a rabbit (did you see the pics I got of the stoat killing and carrying off the rabbit?)

Its a fantastic reminder of the one occasion i've had with a stoat, except i had neither the equipment or knowledge at the time to capture him like you have, beautiful creatures

fierce but they have something about them, hardly ever been so close to one though

I've been close to them in the Wildlife Rescue I worked for but only once in the wild. A real treat to be sure

I've got one of another stoat - the day before - grabbing a rabbit, much larger beastie and dragging it off at speed
