I've been randomly pronouncing his name like that for the past week.Um, I have foggy memories of running into the kitchen at seven o'clock each night, shutting the door and turning off the lights when I was little, before turning on the TV and plonking my self down in a chair to watch this cartoon, Beetlejuice.
I'd completely forgotten the cartoon was in existence until I befriended , and I was like... Oh shit... I have no idea how I could have forgotten about it, especially since the movie is one of my favourites. I realised the other day that I hadn't watched the movie in a while, and after watching it again, I just went on an insane Beetlejuice spree, diving into youtube to find any episodes I could of the cartoon. I've been watching just about everything religiously all week, and I thought it was about time I drew our favourite bio-exorsist. It isn't great, but I think I've done the ghost with the most at least some justice. I wish I hadn't put in the green mould around his hair line, though, like in the movie, he now looks like he's got froggy-warts. Ah well...
I may move this to scraps eventually, I dunno. But if I do, this totally isn't the last you're gonna see of him; I've got fanfic idea's and further drawing ideas brewing, and nothing can stop me from posting it...
I'm pretty much screwed at the moment; you're not allowed to say "his" name three times and I've already said it twice so, um...

My family had the movie on tape back when it came out.. problem was that we wore it out within a matter of months due to our watching it over and over and over! Ah, love it..

What, the movie or the cartoon?
The movie was released in 1988 and the cartoon aired in America a year later, I think. The animation's bloody awesome considering it was done in the eighties, in my opinion. As for the animation in the film, it's stop-motion, most likely, so I guess it's supposed to look a bit juddery. I like juddery, mind. Make it look a bit eerier

And, yeah, I've always been into Tim Burton, for as long as I can remember. I was a somewhat freaky five year old... I love BJ's beer belly, and I can't help but get annoyed when people don't put it in 'cos he "Doesn't look hawt with it". I prefer him having a chubby figure, means I have more in common with him XD

I remember one snipit from the old cartoon. I used to watch it when I was really little. All I can remember from the cartoon was this girl screaming his name three times.

I've pretty much grown up on Beetlejuice, really; I used to watch the cartoon when I was five, then when I was six or seven, my parents introduced me to the movie, so, y'know, my nearly life long exposure to the ghost with the most is most likely the cause of my... Insanity...
