Awesome.
At first I thought that you had created this in a computer program.
Fantastic background, I love the lighting coming from the tank.

I created this in a computer program, that doesn't mean I did it on a 3d program xD

under a stone?

constantie In reply to vandervals [2011-04-08 15:41:58 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, that might need to be a big stone...
I can't just hide in the closet or under the bed? No, that wont do, then the big ones will take a look, when the small ones ask them to check for monsters...

I didn't know that alien crocodiles look like seahorses. How cool!

Just a little joke, sorry.

I really like the lighting and reflections off the floor, and the piece is greatly added to by all the ropes and lines from the ceiling and on the floor.

One very small and maybe easy addition would be to put a couple of people coming out of the light in the background -- that would help me know how large this space is, and would give the picture a little bit of story to "read".

I would also suggest shifting the shadows to a warmer tone, to bring them towards the viewer.

This looks like it was *lot* of work -- the grating along had to take forever. Very well done!

vandervals In reply to DarkPistachio [2011-04-04 13:51:55 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I think you are right but I was so tired about this work i didn't wana put someone entering... it was really tired to do but if it wasn't I would have drawn a space crocodile wearing scafandra and a laser gun all geecky entering from that door xD

The lighting is cool~ c: And the surfaces are perfect.
Something abour the perspective bothers me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It might just be my over-active sense of symmetry acting up due to the ... "tube" not being perfectly centered on that ... uh... I really am missing that word right now. On that platform there.
I'm really not sure.

Well, considering the whole picture, it -does- look great.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

vandervals In reply to timmytier [2011-03-05 15:59:05 +0000 UTC]

nah, there are a lot of imperfections in t he perspective, as I said, it is not 3d,it is hand made with lines

but thank youu

timmytier In reply to vandervals [2011-03-05 17:46:37 +0000 UTC]

Well, construction by hand doesn't automatically mean there'll be flaws. But I know just how complicated things get and how easy it is to make some sort of mistake c:

que buen dibujo y que grandiosos detalles, me alegra que no tenga base 3D y Matte porque no me gusta ese tipo de arte, es como hacer trampa.
