Description
Here is my piece for the Livejournal's 500year_diary art challenge/trade thingie! I drew this for tekiclutch who requested something basic like "Doctor/Doctor slash" which was really harder than you might think. Doctors acting intimate, but not porny.Anyway, I know Teki likes Five, and Five/Six is practically canon, so I went that route. Only, I determined to make Six the "pretty boy" and the one who is idolized, mostly based on the existance of Commander Maxil and the fact that Five regenerated into him and thus must like him. And Six has unkind words about Five, mostly. Yes. It makes sense in my head. Anyway.
My girlfriend said Six looks angelic, and she doesn't like Colin much, so I'm pleased.
Sort of quickly done today, because I forgot all about the exchange (and for some reason thought it was due in August!) and have been busy with other art/things, but I figured I'd better draw this, since it's due on the 1st! Phew.
Background is a manipulated photo, and it's got some flare effects on it, obviously, haha. Hope you enjoy it, Teki! ♥

Nice! I wonder what the female version of the Sixth Doctor would be like though... might draw her sometime. What if the regeneration REALLY went wrong and he became a SHE?

I've actually thought of what The Doctor would be like if he were born female. I imagine that in her second incarnation, she would get into a relationship with one of her male companions and somehow end up pregnant with his kid. Then when she is tried at Gallifrey, she objects to the forced regeneration because it might hurt her baby. The other Time Lords tell her they would 'take care of that' and suddenly, she doubles over in pain and is restrained and blindfolded. She doesn't even get to see her baby or hear it cry, so she believes that they made her abort. That would make her quite vengeful in her next incarnation, though she would likely keep that hidden. She wouldn't mention her lost child, but instead manipulate the humans and others so she can take her revenge.
Her first incarnation might be less abrasive, a little sweeter and more tolerant of the century she's in. And her fourth incarnation would be probably more emotional due to the return of her 'cycles'.

I might. Right now I'm also thinking of doing a fic where the Tenth Doctor meets the Third Incarnation of himself from another dimension, one that is female and is attempting to escape in her TARDIS. He knows the codes but he opts not to tell her because Earth needs her very much, and revenge is not the answer to her sorrow.

XD They are sort of sticklers for proper grammar and spelling, etc., but you seem like you'd have a good grasp on that, and they usually tell you where you're errors are if not so you can revise it if it's rejected.

Ah ok. It's got some great Sixth Doctor/Peri fics... though I might make some with my own character. BTW I'm JennaDaCapo on that site. My character might be able to handle the Sixth Doctor because in her heart, she loves it when people are up-front honest with her.

I must admit I never thought of 5/6 (since 6 never really was fond of 5) but it deffinately works... loving how they are both drawn btw, and big respect for the 6 deffending, I feel he is a seriously underated and over-abused doctor, when he was a pretty darn good one (in my opinion anyway) and I really love their hair

I think I do too, but then again, there's only a few pairings I couldn't consider, and as for Doctor/Doctor, well, the Doctor did always seem to love himself a bit too much

Yeah, I'm pretty fond of most pairings too. Even the ones I don't really like I just don't read/look at, but I don't really have anything against. XD

Yeah, there are a few pairings I'd argue with (the ones were the two clearly detest each other for one, I usually need to see something just slightly cannon to support it before I commit myself, but to be honest, with the Doctor there is potential for pairing with any of his companions (or even one or two enemies)

I agree completely. I'm not fond of rivalry pairings at all. Even if there is some canon (just one "n") potential, if they are actively enemies it'd take a lot to convince me. And I wouldn't really be interested because likely there's a much better person for him anyway. (i.e. Doctor/Master COULD work, but Doctor/ANYONE ELSE makes so much more sense, to me.)

Yeah, enemies would have to be blind drunk or drugged up to the eyeballs to go anywhere near that kind of terratory (and even that's hardly a relationship, more of a cruel way of torture) and yes, like many people, I could never see the Master/Doctor really working in anyways as good as the Doctor and someone he can acttually stand the sight of...

I think it underminds the whole rivalry things aswell, the whole "He hates that person but he loves them at the same time... how does that work?"
But, now I think of it, I'm working on a seperate storyline right now that has a similar hint to it (Only anyone who says it's a lovey pairing needs their eyes checking...)so really I'd say they work well for a harsh clash of reality, and a bit of self toture for the better party of the pairing... but nothing else...
