Description
[See my finished scene, Calamity and Woe HERE ]The Toad "Double Bubble" fighter from the Bucky O'Hare comic/cartoon series. The standard fighter in the Toad Armada, it serves many roles, as long as those roles involve blowing stuff up.
Like Bucky's own ship, the Righteous Indignation (see my model of it here , every picture of this ship in the comics seemed to depict it differently - most notably, the guns on the wings. Most pictures seemed to have the quad "machine gun" on both wings, but some - apparently of the same ship - would have heavier guns, or even additional guns under the wings. I've made each wing carry a different gun to show a sort of modular nature to the ship's armament.
I've tried to update the camouflage motif with a more futuristic, modern, and detailed look, hence the honeycomb overlay and the scan-line camo blots. The symbol on the stabilizer is from the comic, and is apparently some sort of squadron designation; I've made a second symbol as well - also taken from the comics.

Thanks man. Actually, I've never really seen the show. I had the comics as a kid, but the show never seemed to be on when I was home. I think it may have aired during school hours.

I thought Spore was pretty cool, but I found much of the novelty wore off fast. I did make an awesome BioShock Big Daddy creature, though...

yeah the novelty wears off fast, i liked the creature stage but it got boring, i almost quit the tribe stage because i dont like RTS games too much, but i stuck with it and made it to space and really enjoyed space, since i love rpg games like mass effect, but once i used a black hole to the center of the galaxy, the grox made war with me before i could make friends so i was like "well crap" cuz im not a fighter
anyway, enough of spore, i like the model

can't remember anything of the show except that i used to watch it when i was little
Pretty cool moddel, only the purple spheres stand out a but to much in comparison to the other textured parts.

Thanks for your comment. You're right about the spheres. I may play around a bit with the reflectivity to give a more glassy look.
They're supposed to be the cockpit bubbles, but I don't want to make them transparent, or else I'd have to model a pilot inside.
