Hello there!
My apologies for the hiccup in the update schedule. A more social than usual Labor Day weekend followed by an unexpectedly busy week at work left me hanging in one of those dreadful "I'm getting nothing done and suck at art" loops that you get caught up in from time to time. (I suspect fellow artists reading this know the feeling).
But hey, it happens. WE RESUME!
Bit of a crowded page, this one. The scenes are starting to get on top of one another as we lurch towards convergence...

No problem! We are getting a look at a fascinating story and great art, for free!
Love the juxtaposition between the two narratives here.
My first thought on that last panel, was, of course, "is that Didi?". The monochrome (except Andy's eyes, love that!) makes it hard to tell. All may be revealed in the next page, mayhap..

It's quite possible we might be barking up the wrong tree. If I had to speculate "who she is", and in light of the recent upheaval, she could be a well-placed, highly-trained, government operative who's "assets" serve to divert suspicion away from the idea that she's on a covert investigation into whatever-the-flip happened in this sleepy, midwestern town. In other words, her "athletic qualities" could be her equivalent of the "Jedi Mind Trick". 👍: 0 ⏩: 0

That, or more likely, we're about to witness an awkward, mistaken-identity moment with a local woman. Perhaps somewhere in-between those scenarios lies the truth. Whatever it is, we'll probably find out in a page or two.
Those thighs are not NEARLY thicc enough to be gogo.

The way of interweaving between the two stories is very curious and is well done, just a little bit confusing sometimes but I like it all the same

I agree on the shoes and muscle mass a little (she bulked up after Didi came around), but bear in mind at this point she shouldn't have her claws until Didi splits off from her (I believe).

Yeah you're right. I just looked at page 35 and she doesn't have any claws. But i still agree about the muscle mass. She may not be super bulky yet, but she still looked bigger than that girl. And i'm wondering if Bob is going to have Didi enter the story the same way.
