nuffin' special, just a panel sample from my anthology piece. miles to go to finish coloring
i like the look of the Speaker character on the right. it's easy to be smug in the face of brutes if a dragon has your back.
that'll make more sense once the story's finished

Sweet awsome. I really do like the expressions. There is so much going on in the Speakers expression, maybe even more than just smug-ness, it's almost patronizing in away. I suppose those are pretty much the same thing. I love the lighting too.

I really like that subtle detail of their facial construction. Slayer's a robust guy with clearly defined lines, while Speaker's a nimble girl with a smooth, curvy face.
Whether this may have been done intentionally or not, it still makes for a fine panel, and hopefully even a fine page.
Don't stop now, Van. Keep it up.
