Didi Chick-Trap Success!my half of an art trade with featurin' his characters Maya and Tania alongside ol' Didi and wee Pablo! (see the other half o' the trade here: Day on the Beach Β )
Darwin NuΓ±ez has such a cool, round, colorful and cartoony style... I often feel like my own style gets a little static and muted, so a trade was a nice breath of fresh air. Bouncing, curvy, shiny fresh air-- be advised, his gallery is just a BIT more adult than mine, to say the least
, but he really did a job with Gogo and Didi and this was a kick-ass art trade.Now back to your regularly scheduled commissions. Enjoy!

A mental image of a city-wide Gogo rampage comes to mind with Pablo's unexplained disappearance.

It's like "Taken", but more so!

Yea, you could have Gogo finding signs of Pablo suddenly disappearing. Didi and Bear trying to keep her calm while aiding in tracking down Pablo. Maybe have it end with Pablo simply in a neighbors backyard having tea and cookies with a neighbors daughter. And maybe when Gogo is about to let loose an irrational smash down, she gets a cookie in her raging maw, and immediately calms down to partake with Pablo and the little girl.

OR Pablo is actually stolen away by a ring of exotic pet thieves, who are being monitored by shadowy bounty hunters, who are in turn being monitored by radical animal rights activists, who all converge upon one another in an epic standoff at a lonely warehouse with our little blue fuzzy right in the middle of it all, when in through the roof drops a large and very angry lady, who hits the ground and, soon after, begins hitting many people very hard and very repeatedly.
"THIS.
IS.
MINE.
PABLO."
and much fun is had by all.
Except the aforementioned parties.
And we all have a good laugh. On into the night.
