Ah I drew with a thick brush with low opacity C: I just start with simple shapes and go back over them to rough in the details.

Well I'm glad I can help you by saying I am falling apart at the seams. Friend problems + epic amounts of finals = mental and emotional fail on a level unimaginable, and that's not even the half of it. So I'm standing in the exact same shadow, just waiting for it to pass.

i always loved vent art..
it always seems to make you feel better once you drew it.
or at least that's how it is for me..
I love the pose in this and the sketchiness of it.
The eyes, tears, paws and cute nose are to die for and
how his wings seem to hover over him like protection.

Oh this is so saaaad. :/
But I love it so much, I love the pose and expression... It's awesome, and the rough and pale sketchy feel. Really expressive and it makes all the atmosphere of the picture.

I also adore the style. The nose, the paws, everything is perfect.
