I love this creature because it seems more realistic than every picture of satyr i have ever seen ! I love your interpretation of this creature, it's so creepy and fascinating at the same time !! Good job !

What sort of clay have you used here ... air drying?

I've created a number of sculpts out of polymer doll clay. Obviously, in this medium they have to be quite small. Due to lack of facilities I'm searching around for something air-drying in order that I might work bigger.The clays I have experimented with up to date leave a bit to be desired.

have you ever considered working in a clay and making a mold from that to cast the final piece from?

If you made a mold you would not have to fire the clay, you could cast the sculpture in plaster, resin or any other various materials

That is how I would do it. I would also make a mother mold out of plaster on top of the silicon
