I am using a terracotta clay for these. It is not my preferred type of clay to use but being able to just fire the piece and be done is a life saver.

Yes you do, sorry not seen earlier. Anyway, what clay do you use? I am always in very small sizes, afraid that it would collapse if I build up larger. Is he hollow inside? If so how did you manage that?

Thank you. The clay is terracotta.It is hollow inside, there is a bent metal wire wrapped with paper that is supporting the sculpture inside.
