When I completed this painting I wrote a few limes to go with it.

A ridiculous weapon, to fight ridiculous wars. Wars where soldiers only lose there illusions and no there lives. War where women and children are no the victim of violence. A weapon that made the war industries work on full power.
Because fore this weapon as fore al weapons applies the same logic, the BIGGER the BETTER.

I wanted to paint this painting fore years. But I was looking fore the right angle to tell my story.
One day I saw a series of photographs from the 1 world war. And I was. The atmosphere I the pictures was what I was looking fore. The raw industrial appearance. On of the pictures was a giant gun. One like on described by TomyIronmane, but one of the allied. On this gun I based the painting.

Looks like the German's proposed tracked carriage of Schwerer Gustav... Some nut-job wanted t use an 800 mm cannon for street fighting.

It's me once again. I came across your work in Febuary Features. Anywho, another piece that I love. I'll be drafted to the military in about a year or so (partly because I want to and partly because I have to - I'm from Israel) and I have to tell you we DO have weapons that work like that, not fire and say "bang" I mean, but broken up machines are sometimes placed in plain sight.

Hmmm... I think that, if they were to fire it, the enemy would launch a counterattack simply to prevent utter humilliation. Brilliant and funny idea though! This one is now a fave!

I like how the weapon and the painting both seem like they're from the 40's.

Fore some reason it is not a popular painting. And I don't know why?
May be to confronting? Grey colours?
