Pokegirl297 [link] made a pretty specific request for a drawing of her Mewfour character. I probably would never draw such a character normally unless prompted to. The color scheme and the fact that this is a very bland Mewfour made me rather unenthused and uninspired to bother. (My rule is, if Mewthrees are suppose to be elaborate god-mods, then anything 4 or higher has to be incredibly overpowered and designed.) To be honest I put way more effort into the background than the character in the end. I needed something omnipotent.The background ate all my time and energy. The character took probably a culmutative hour from sketch to shading. Again, not inspired so whipped him out quickly. Generally I do not like this picture for the character or composition. Nothing special for me.

This came out really good, beautiful background. After seeing yours and Psylady's, I'm gonna have to do that M3 meets M4 pic I've been playing around with in my head... remind the folks at home that the "third time's the charm"...
On a sidenote about MewtwosAmbassador's question concerning the wings, I had given my guy wings for two reasons -
1. so he's capable of flight without his psychic powers
(Dr. Tenecha had designed him to be "operational" without his powers, so he could still fight while her psychic-neutralizing invention was working)
2. with all the poses and cliche grandeur I give Mewthree, his wings act as a substitute cape of sorts.

I hope the background was decent, after all, it took the most amount of time.
I would like to see what you actually can come up with. I'm very unsure of Mewfour's personality, so against your Mewthree's, it should definitely be interesting to see what sort of interpretation you make.
The wings do look bad-boy evil, that's for sure. And they definitely beat a cape.

I like the pose, but seriously why do people keep giving these MEWTWO, MEWFOUR MEW WHATEVER wings? They have psychic powers and can levitate, so whats the point? I Love the background its just GORGEOUS! The characters okay, but I wish more people would put more thought into their characters like you and I do. Either way this picture is a definate 10 because the detail is OUTSTANDING!

Well, for them I don't understand. I gave Mewblade wings (on occassion) since they're for attacking/blocking. Vita has them, despite the levitating but hers is for blocking and the angel representation. I think they use the wings as evil/demonic impressions.
Your characters are exceptionally detailed, but in a way Pokegirl297 is smart, hers are actually easily reproducable. Trying to draw yours over and over again would produce different results each time. It's the difference between levels of complexity.

while Mewtwo sits on his knees behind Mewblade holding me(the girl in this comic [link] is me *me onconsues and hurd pretty bad... big woonds and scratches*

Doable, or do - able means it can be done. It also would not be out of my comfort zone to do the image. I'll enjoy working on it, but again, it will take me a bit of time before you receive it.

Yeah, you're right, I would expect Mewfours to be more elaborate. I'd class this to be a Mewtwo or three in my opinion.

Simple is better design wise, let's you focus on the personality. But it's still a higher number than a Mewthree... usually those are exclusively psycho god-mods. Kind of like a Super Saijan 3 equivalant from Dragonball Z. They get more complicated looking and their voice actors resort to drooling as a way to communicate. Then again, it's possible that her Mewfour isn't a mod...

More crazy designs work for human/saiyan characters, and DBZ is a over-the-top anime anyways. maybe its beacuse the idea of a mewthree has been used a bit as a character. So I guess uping the number maybe the way to go.

hehe, she asked me the same, i like this pose! and i think its a neat design, the most respect to the choise of colors, i never thought about combining purple with green.
you can see that you put a lot of effort into the background, your space bgs always turn out awsome.

I have a shirt with that exact color combination, and I love it. But at the same time it uses things such as balance and subtlety when it comes to the distribution of color. Then again, I have never really liked pure white bases on Mewtwo types. All of my Mewthrees are in cool colors, which has always been my preference. The bright, high contrast ones make me gag. So it's really just me.
