Description
A new OC, thanks to MrMcArthur , who inspired me to finally get over my art slump.This is the very first design of her, so I'm sure some things will change over time, but overall I'm pretty dang happy with the result!
I just hope I actually continue to draw and develop her further, but I'm staying positive.

Ah fantastic, McArthur's shown me some of your work before and it's great that you're getting back into it! You've got a lot of skill and it would be such a shame to let it sit unused!
I really like your precise lineart and her proportions are great. The shape of her shoulders, chest and face in particular are very natural looking. I also like your use of broken lines to define muscles and folds while still communicating the presence of the fur.
I had one or two very minor points of critique if you were interested, just small anatomical quirks. I feel as though the palm of her hand is somewhat small in this. The fingers seem to join the palm as far back as the inside of the thumb. Hands can really be a total pain to draw and while I don't know how you construct your drawings, I sometimes find it useful to draw the palm first and then extend the fingers out from it.
The other suggestion I had was for her face. Overall she has a really pretty face, I love the shape of her eyes and the colouration in the fur. After staring at it for some time though, I wonder if you should be able to see more of her left (our right) cheek? If I trace down from the edge of her right eye, I come to the corner of the jawbone, but on the other side, you can't see the jaw at all. I think the snout is well positioned with reference to the eyes, but I think maybe the cheek should be more visible.
Anyhow, really cool work with this. The lines and the colouring are really clean and pretty and it's always great to see characters with such good looking natural colours. I'd love to see more of this kinda work, so gonna watch you I think.

Yeah, I'm not really happy with her hand either. I tried redrawing it at least five or six times, but each new revision looked worse than the one before. In the end I was just fed up with it and decided to use the very first iteration, otherwise I'd still be busy redrawing that damn hand. Your tip about drawing the palm first sounds like a great idea though. Still, hands are definitely something I need to practice more.
I haven't really given much thought about her left cheek, but now that I'm looking at it for a while, I can see what you mean. I guess I'm just used to drawing feline faces that way, with the cheek hiding behind the muzzle, even though we should still be able to see it (or at least some parts of it).

Told what I think about pretty much everything on Discord already I'm afraid, haha. I see you decided against whiskers though, what a pity. But I guess whiskers would look out of place...
Question is, will I stop drawing Jack for every occasion and strat drawing her now

You can draw whoever you like, I don't really mind either way, I'm just happy whenever you draw anything at all for me
