Description
Zim walks into Yif's bedroom and finds the boy playing a video game.Zim: Hey Buddy.... wacha playin'?
Yif: Fallout.
Zim: Looks kinda-kinda violent.
Yif: All video games are violent.
Zim: Can I play?
Yif: It's kinda a one player game.
Zim: Oh.
Yif: Yup.
He watches as Yif blows a couple of ghouls' heads off.
Zim: Are those the bad guys?
Yif: Yeah.
Zim: Watch out for that one!
Yif: I can't kill Cheren, he's my partner.
Zim: Oh. Is he a good guy?
Yif: So long as it's in the contract.
Zim: But he looks like a bad guy.
Yif: Only the feral ones are.
Zim: Oh.
There is a pause as Yif continues to scowl at the screen.
Zim: I didn't wanna go you know?
Yif: I know.
END
So this little bit is a part of the comic. Zim reluctantly volunteered to fight with the Resisty in the Galactic War, and was gone for three years.
After suffering from immense trauma Zim finally got to go home, hoping to see his little boy the way he remembered.
But he came home to find out that Yif didn't want anything to do with him. Yif resented his father for ever having to leave at all, and didn't necessarily mean to be so cruel.
It didn't help that Yif was being brutally bullied while his father was away either. He really needed him and he wasn't there.

This is an amazing picture! I really like how you did the eyes, the glow looks awesome and it's pretty epic how you can see the reflections of the screen XD
Their expressions also convey a lot about the picture and I love how Zim is twiddling his thumbs. What better way is there to show how awkward it is.
I also like their shadows against the wall, it's a detail most would forget to put, but the way you did it empathizes the lack of light in the room.
The description also really helps to understand the picture, even thought the expressions and body language help get the general gist over.
