I got Illustrator for one of my college classes and I wanted to play around in it a little bit to get re-aquatinted with it (it's been about three years since I've used it). I had this image of Arceus on my desktop from my other account so I decided to play with it. I tried using the pen and other tools but I was never very good at Illustrator so I mostly played with the "Image Trace" option.

About each type of image
1. The original image
2. A simple "Image Trace"
3. A coloring I did in Photoshop of the Image Trace
4. An "Image Trace" in the mode "Color"
5. An "Image Trace" where I played with a lot of various options in the window to try to make it look more like a line art/sketch
6. An actual "vector" I spent hours lining with the Pen tool

2/26/16- Finally made an actual "vector" using the Pen tool.
2/28/16- Want the full-size, non-resized, images all on their own layers? They are now available as Premium Content! Keep in mind that I made these using Illustrator CC, meaning if you have a regular CS, or an old version of CC, the file might show up differently for you than me.
