Description I've seen a few of my watchers , and other model building Deviants, build these post apocalyptic vehicles from various types of models, so i thought I'd give it a try. It's a Revell Ford Bronco kit, which i built previously, but i boxed it up years wanting to redo it. Out of all my projects I had sitting around, the bronco seemed like the perfect post apocalyptic vehicle to me. Its big and tank like as is, has lots of room in the back for supply runs into zombie infested towns, and it can run over or push obstacles that are in its way. Pretty much everything you see on it came from my spare parts box. The ramming bumper was all scratch built, but the winch on it came from a 35th scale army truck of some kind, which still looks in scale to me. I also scratch built the shields over the glass. I built it not as a combat truck, but as supply, or rescue truck that'll go into zombie infested cites to retrieve and salvage supplies, or to rescue anyone stranded.
It was kinda neat building something like that, I'm so used to building models based on how they're supposed to look in real life, this was a fun break from all of that, and really caused me to exercise my imagination.
I'll prolly still add to it, I left the top loose so the interior can be seen, so I'll prolly add a few things like gas cans, wooden crates, things like that. I already have a shotgun, and assault rifle inside it, so it's ready to see some zombie killing action!

Me too! I think we've been looking at the same guys that *almost* exclusively do post-apoc/madmaxxed kits and I love them all! Great job on yours too.

Hmmm, I do have a beaten up classic Celica around here somewhere.

That would be a good one!

I might have to do another one, this one was alot of fun to do, I can see why so many build models like this! lol

Yeah let's build 'em! Makes good use of 'trash' kits too.

Heh, the post-apocalyptic builds. . .I know, everyone's doing them as of late. You'd think the end of the world is near. . .

Your's is unique among the rest. . .Its actually dirty and looks genuinely neglected. Though um, could use some blood stains.

I guess I could put some blood stains on the bumper from mowing over a large group of zombies in the way lol
