Is there a webpage somewhere where I can read up on her details? I've always loved the look and feel of this character, but I know very little about her - yet, so many others seem to know quite a bit - I've learned more from the comments on various submissions than I have from your postings, and what little I've read has only piqued my interest further - conceptualizing characters is a big interest of mine.

I love Sci-Fi and the lighting here gives a more mysterious mood.
Plus, her expression is not really readable, which makes one wonder, what she sees.

Maybe she is the first human who awakes maybe through a system error or something and finally arrived thier destination and now the other passangers are awake too and thats why she is happy

I love the character 88 she has benn the background for my ipad and iphone for over two years in one of your masterpieces of digital art. I really wish i had the patients to learn how to create art like this. Keep em coming and if you get artblock i know a change in scenery can sometimes help.

Been wondering when 88 might pop up again. Would love a back story for her... seems like such an intriguing character. Now she seems similar to the Interstellar film, alone on a ship.

I remember reading something on someone's blog that mentions an old comment that Vash made about her backstory. I'm not entirely sure if it's the real deal or not, but according to the post, the ship is one of those more 'realistic' sorts of starships sort of like the one in that movie "Passengers", which isn't traveling at faster-than-light speeds, and as a result the entire crew, consisting of the last humans alive after some Earth-ruining apocalypse, has been in stasis for centuries, waiting to be awakened once the ship reaches its new destination. All through the years, the ship has been maintained by a lineage of clones of the same person, with each new one being created after the previous one dies. "88" is the eighty-eighth clone in that succession, destined for a life of total solitude as she keeps the ship running during her tenure as the sole guardian of humanity's last remnants...
